Miss Miriam Pauline Rhan, 82, passed away March 15, 2017 at the Wallingford Nursing Home. She was a proud lifelong resident of Chester, Pa. Miriam was a member of The Goodwill Ladies Auxiliary of Chester and The Ladies Auxiliary of Delaware County Fireman’s Association. She was a devoted and loving daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Musser) Rhan who she lived with their whole lives as she was never married. Her and her mother were very well known and liked as the ladies who rode the bus, walked, and swept the street to keep Chester clean. All of their neighbors knew and thought kindly of them. They were thought of as sisters due to their same hairstyle and clothes.
She is survived by many cousins.
