Pauline Sikorsky (nee Korch) 80, passed away August 19, 2012 at Kindred Hospital, Broomall PA. Born in Trainer PA, she graduated from Eddystone High School and has been a long time resident of Brookhaven PA. Throughout her professional career she was employed with Baldwin in Eddystone and Viscose in Trainer, did medical billing for various local doctors, and was currently working for her son at APRIA Health Care. She was very involved in her community as a devoted parishioner of the Reformation Lutheran Church in Media PA, a member of the Red Hat Society, and a volunteer at Fair Acres, amongst other activities. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and above all, to spend time with her family. In addition, she greatly enjoyed entertaining at her shore house in Avalon NJ and shared her love of crabbing with all, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Sikorsky, daughter Patricia Sikorsky, and parents Susan and Charles Korch. She is survived by her children: Gerald C. (Lilly) Sikorsky, David P. (Martha) Sikorsky, and Jeanne C. Sikorsky (fiancée Gary Frank); her sisters: Mary Eroh and Anne Day; her grandchildren: Lauren, Gerald, Alison, Amy, and Fisher Sikorsky, Victoria Barry, and Katie Linde; and her great-granddaughter Payton Lauer.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 11am at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 102 W. Rose Tree Rd., Media PA, 19063. Private burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston PA.
