Raymone Richard Tenaglio, a professor of mathematics and an innovator in the field of computer operating systems, died at his home in Broomall on July 26. He was 40.
For many years, Mr. Tenaglio was an avid racquetball player and enjoyed a small amount of local fame on the amateur circuit. However, due to cronic knee problems, he turned to academic pursuits and began a distinguised career in the field of incoherent equations.
Contributions in the field of operating systems include the statistical analysis of activation delay time and the definition of a more robust algorithm for managing disk interfaces.
Mr. Tenaglio is survived by a wife and two sons.
