Renee M. Johnson, 85, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, at the Wallingford Nursing Home. She was a long-time resident of Brookhaven, PA. As a teenager Renee enjoyed playing music as an accomplished clarinet player and keyboard player as the organ. As a young mother she loved roller skating. She loved playing cards and other games and was a very happy person who laughed very often enjoying game nights with family and friends. She loved her bunny figurines. her video handheld games, and crossword puzzles.

Renee was a hard worker as well, raising her 2 sons as a single mom and advancing her career as a hair stylist, beauty schoolteacher and financial aid officer with Wilfred Academy.

In August of 2002 she was Baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness at Veterans Stadium.

Above all else, she was an extremely loving mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ted Johnson; brother Don Ireland; and her parents.

She is survived by her loving sons Jeff Elliott (Lisa) and Gary Elliott (Angel) and her grandchildren Daniel, Nicholas, Austin, Steven, and Jen.

Her funeral service will take place December 21, 2024 at 11:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015 with a visitation starting at 10:00am.
