Robert Franklin Gable, 91, passed away November 27, 2013 at his home. Born and raised in Philadelphia he has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, since 1951. He worked for Gibson Motors and Penske Chevrolet as a Body Shop manager before his retirement. He loved wood working, gardening, and his cats. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army who enlisted the day after the Pearl Harbor attack.
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years who passed away in 1998, Eloise McLeod Gable and his parents Bessie and Marvin Gable.
He is survived by his son Wayne Gable of Austin, Tx.
Visitation Saturday 10-11 am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Interment private.
