Robert Z. Yancey November 19, 1938 - August 31, 2011

Robert Z. Yancey, 71, passed away August 31, 2011 at Belvedere Nursing Center, Chester, Pa. Born in Gastonia, NC, he was a former resident of Wallingford, Pa, and Middletown, Pa. He has resided at Chestnut Ridge, Chester, Pa, for the past 6 years. He graduated from Ocala High School in Ocala, FL. He was a career long employee of Scott Paper as a machinist. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 48 years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was the loving father of James S. (Kerry) Yancey, Robert S. (Mary Lou) Yancey, Challey (Robert) Byrnes, and Allison (John) DeCamillo. He was the brother of James Yancey and the proud grandfather of 15. Memorial service Wednesday 12pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 10-12 at the funeral home. Burial private.
