Roberta McClure Adam July 31, 1933 - July 28, 2012

Roberta McClure Adam, passed away on July 28, 2012 at her home at Riddle Village, Media, Pa. Born in Chester, Pa., she was a resident of Media, Upper Providence, Windsor of Glen Mills and currently at Riddle Village. She graduated from Media High School class of 1951 and Pierce School of Business. She was the secretary treasurer of Uff Machine Company in Upland, Pa. A life member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and secretary and life member of Friendship Chapter of 551 and Eastern Star Media 511. Secretary/Treasurer Association of Philadelphia and a member of the grand representatives Assoc. of Pa. She was district deputy for district 16 A and chairman of the 1980 State Constitution. Active in three different bridge clubs and in a knitting/crocheting group at Windsor. Survived by her identical twin sister Regina McCarthy(Ted) of Waterville, Pa., sister Susan Winfree(Howard) of Oxford,Md. And identical twin brothers Robert S. McClure III (Joy) of South Carolina and Ricard J. McClure (Bonnie) of Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Regina Uff McClure and the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Adam who passed away in February of this year. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Bateman Funeral home 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa. 19015.
