Rosemarie Twomey February 9, 2013

Rosemarie Twomey passed away February 9, 2013 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Born in Essington, Pa, she was a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa, being an original resident of Cambridge Estates. She graduated from Ridley Park High School and worked as a clerk for Westinghouse. She was a member of Our Lady of Charity Parish and belonged to the Charitians, Mother Katherine Drexel Seniors, and the former Cambridge Estates Civic Association. She enjoyed playing bingo and the string bands on New Years. She was predeceased by her mother Ann E. Dever.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Robert L. Twomey; her sons Robert and Dennis Twomey; daughters Patricia A. Twomey, Maureen (William) Tomoschuk, and Ann Marie (Nicholas) Smargiassi; her grandchildren William and Brendan Tomoschuk and Nicholas and Christopher Smargiassi.

Funeral mass Wednesday 10am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 9-9:45am at the church. Interment St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Community Volunteers In Medicine, 300 B Lawrence Dr., West Chester, Pa, 19380 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, Pa.
