Sophie Jackie Wisnewski March 20, 1919 - March 29, 2007

Sophie “Jackie” Wisnewski (nee Shell) passed away March 29, 2007 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima, Pa. She had been a resident there for 5 years and lived most of her life prior to that in Springfield. She was the wife of the late Francis Wisnewski who passed away in 2002. She was the mother of the late Robert Wisnewski who passed away in 1994. She was also the sister to the late Theodore Shell and Michael Shell. She was survived by her daughter in law Linda Wisnewski of Brookhaven, Pa., her sisters, Marie Sutherland of Florida, Ann Callus of Maryland, Helen Oscar of New Jersey, and her brother John Shell of Florida. She was the grandmother of Joseph Acri of Brookhaven, Pa, and Jennifer Halloway (Wisnewski) of Wallingford, Pa, and Great grandmother of Dylan Acri of Glassboro, NJ. A graveside service will take place Tuesday 12 noon at S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
