Virmadella Passwater Beswick February 9, 1922 - March 10, 2006

Virmadella Passwater Beswick, age 84, died peacefully at her home in Aston, Pa. Born in Cambridge, Maryland, she resided in Bridgeville, Delaware until 1927, moving to the Chester, Pa. area, she lived in Parkside, Pa. for 61 years. A graduate of Chester High School in 1940. A member of Parkside United Methodist Church since 1955 and took part in all activities and served on many committees and was devoted to her church. Daughter of the late Howard M. and Mary Jester, and Step daughter of the late Asbury Passwater. Wife of the late Flight Officer J. Robert Runnells who was killed in Europe in WWII in 1944. Also wife of the late Harold (Bes) Beswick of 52 years. Mother of Michael R. Beswick of Aston, Pa. and Margaret Susan Beswick of Punta Gorda Isle, Florida. Grandmother of 8. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Parkside United Methodist Church, Roland Rd., and Edgmont Ave., Parkside, Pa. 19015. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Concordville, Pa.
