William A. Murray “Bill”, 82, passed away June 29, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Newtown Square, before moving to Parkside in 1995. He was a graduate of Bonner High School, class of 1960 and went on to work for Marple Newtown School District for over 30 years. During his retirement he worked for Boscovs. Bill was an active member of Our Lady of Charity, where he was involved with the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul. He loved watching sports and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
Bill was predeceased by his parents William and Mary Murray.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years Patricia Murray (Nee Burke); his stepchildren Mary Pat Newlin (Dale) and Edward Ladley; his grandchildren PJ Carribino (Joe), Donald Toy, Jr., Joanna McGinn; his great grandchildren Eliza Carrabino and Carter Ruggeri; his sisters Mary Jane Schaar and Judith McLaughlin; niece Catherine Dale (Ryan); and grandniece Lilliana Graham.
