William “Bill” Simpson
William “Bill” Simpson, 89, passed away October 31, 2011 at Naaman’s Creek County Manor, Garnet Valley, Pa. He has been a resident of Naamans Creek for the past 5 years and was a previous long time resident of Folsom, Pa. He worked for Westinghouse as a Foreman before retiring in 1981. He was a member of the American Legion and was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. He loved the Phillies and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a talented trumpet player who played with the Chester City Band and the German Oompah Band. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was predeceased by his first wife Vivian Simpson who passed away in 1970; his daughter Andrea Simpson; and his brother Raymond Simpson. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Therese Simpson.; his children Scott Simpson, Susan Simpson, and Tina Baldino; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. All services will be private.
